The school, situated on 3.5 hectares (8.5 acres) of grounds, bordered on one side by Ferny Creek, is well maintained and features many established trees.
The school is proud of its courtyards, oval, new basketball court and two adventure playgrounds bordered by a beautiful creek and bushland.
We have just completed a refurbishment of our netball/play area, with a wet weather cover, water recycling, netball/basketball rings, power and lighting. The school is also fortunate to be to replace our old storage ‘shack with a new four-bay storage facility
As part of the Federal government’s Building Education Revolution (BER) a new prep-2 learning centre is fully operational. The classrooms and buildings provide excellent flexible learning spaces.
The school is situated in an environmentally sensitive area which is close to bushfire areas. This is an ongoing concern for parents and does impact on student attendance. There is a community fire refuge on site which was completed in 2014.
